I purchased my bike aprox 2 months ago. I started riding it after about a month of owning it. While the bike has a great look to it, I have had a few issues with it upon getting it out of the box. The bolts that attach the front tire to the forks continue to not stay tightened, but it wasn't that I realized this until after the one bolt was so loose that when I applied my front brakes, it caused the tire to displace its normal gait enough to cause me to crash. As a veteran shop teacher, military veteran, and meticulous tradesman, I am confident in my assembly abilities, as well as my bolt tightening abilities....
I have attempted to contact Raev customer service at no fewer than 4 times since the incident, making sure to give adequate time for response before attempting again to contact them. My attempts have been via phone, via email and also requesting from their online website a phone appointment to discuss this concern, as well as ask other questions as it pertains to various features of the bike. I have yet to hear from Raev. This is beyond frustrating and quite frankly, inappropriate as to how they treat their customers. In total, I have spent almost $3,000.00 on products from this company in two months.
In summation, to say that I am extremely disappointed with the customer service from this company, is an incredible understatement. It is now to the point that I will not purchase from them in the future. Furthermore, I am the only person who own's an E-bike in my community and the adjacent communities. I often get questions about my bike, to include if I like it and where I got it. I will no longer be recommending Raev as a company to purchase from as a direct result of the poor, well actually no customer service that I have asked to get, and have not recieved.
