E-Bike Fireproof Battery Charging Box

Was really excited when ChatGPT showed me this box as I had been looking for a reasonably priced large battery box which there are very very few and far between. This seems to ve solid enough for its purpose though I an far from an expert. The problem is there was very little thought of assembly theres odd angles and metal lips in the way of ceryain steps plus they did not provide any extra nuts & bolts which is ridiculous especially when dealing with ones so small. Mine was actually missing a nut on one of the bolts that come completed from factory so thats frusturating. Also the small wrench that it comes with sucks would be much easier to assemble with an enclosed wrench rather than open. So keep that in mind. Id say if one has patience and has a basic wrench set of their own this is worth it. For someone who has no patience or not mechanically inclined avoid this.

I live in a condo and recently new bylaws prohibited charging E-Bike batteries in our units. I keep my battery and a spare battery in the battery box which I keep in our bike storage room. I charge directly from the box and it works well. Thanks

I must have overlooked that the box arrived completely unassembled — not even the latches were attached. The angles and alignment of the screw holes made assembly incredibly difficult, and several screws refused to tighten fully. This raises serious doubts about how reliable or functional the explosion box would be in a real-world scenario. I’ll hang on to it, but I wouldn’t recommend it to others based on the overall quality.

4 stars because shipping took a month...
Hopefully it does what it says.
I hope I never have too find out if it does.
Might buy another so I don't have 2 batteries in one box
